Informational event occurred about the project starting and started the Latvian language training
On December 4 association held informational event occurred about the project starting which is first publicity measure in project „Experience and Knowledge of Association „Balta Maja” for the Integration of National Minorities into Latvia` s community” (Project contract No.: 2013.EEZ/PP/2/MAC/035/050) introduce. Project supported by European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2009.-2014 period in program „NVO fond” lower program „NVO Project program”.
Participated all four representatives of the project partners in informational event: Slavish culture association “Uzori” (Livani), the association of Belorussian culture „Uzdim” (Daugavpils), the theatre studio „Jorik” from Rezekne and Ukrainian Cultural education association „Javir” (Jekabpils). Participated active members from Livani NGOs in this event too. At the beginning of event director presented audition about objectives of the project, planned activities, timetable, tasks. Project partner present their organizations too.
Then followed presentation about national minorities NGOs, which managed Inta Simanska from association „Latvijas pilsoniskā alianse”. The presentation was based on extensive research about national minorities NGOs sector which make this association. Participants heard lot of statistics, its analysis and give substantiation.
In the second part of measure participations take part in active sessions – they identified organizations internal resources, discussed the experience, expressed wishes what they want to get from this project. The measure end with the commitment, that everyone will do their project activities qualitative and with a corresponding plan which are chosen with a view to promote minority capacity, promoting active inclusion of NGOs in the total family.
Project implementers are pleased, that successfully launched one of the most important activities of the project – Latvian language training. In November has been first class in Rezekne and Daugavpils. In December 2 – training started in Livani and Jekabpils. Let`s continue like that!
