Association „Balta maja”

The Project “Support for the Activity of the Association „Balta Maja” to Strengthen the Participatory Democracy in Latgale Region” is ongoing.
In 2014 year period continues project “Support for the Activity of the Association „Balta Maja” to Strengthen the Participatory Democracy in Latgale Region” (project contract number: 2012.EEZ/DAP/MAC/152) implementation. The project was started in the 2013th month of July, and its implementation provides regular support of Association activities. The project supported by EEA Financial Mechanism 2009-2014 period Programme „NGO fund” in subprogram “NGO Activity Support Measure”.
In the project implementation period of 2014 we will planned to continue regular activities – social services and interest groups meetings. Attention will be paid to cooperation with other NGOs – from Livani district, from rural Latgales regions and with senior organizations network „Dzivotprieks” member organizations. With the objective to increase the capacity of members and staff of the team will be training and experience exchange trip to Lithuania.
The period for implementing the project will ensure the project publicity. Will be created two informational materials: Association booklet / Livanu NGOs catalog and informative 2015th year calendar. Will be continued to improve Association day-care center environment (about project funds in 2013th were placed new windows and in this year will be carried out redecoration).
The association started the New Year with their commitment to improving the quality of the services provided and launch a new initiative groups. We are pleased about the new interest group – “The friends of theater” – who was started in Charity champaign 2013.
The project “Support for the Activity of the Association „Balta Maja” to Strengthen the Participatory Democracy in Latgale Region” provides support of the Association daily activities and future development. To creative success and the energy and the implementation of good work!
